Payment gateway: Technical data sheet

Offer your customers a personalised and secure online payment experience by providing a variety of payment methods and optimising transactions.

How does it work?

The first step is to integrate Payment Gateway into your website or app, via plugin or API. You can find out how to do this in our Developers section. There are two integration options available:

  • Simple plugin integration.
  • Advanced integration with API Direct.

Once set up, it is ready to process payments. From the Wipöp control panel you can monitor all transactions in real time. You have access to detailed reports, allowing you to track your sales, view the payment methods used by your customers, and manage returns, refunds or recurring payments and subscriptions in an efficient manner.

The advantages of having a Payment Gateway

  • Flexible integration: You can use specific plugins if you work with the main platforms. Or choose to do it via API for further customisation.
  • A Variety of payment methods: offer your customers the option to pay however they prefer, using Visa and Mastercard cards, or through Bizum.
  • The convenience of a Payment Link: send unique payment links to your customers via the channel of your choice: WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, etc., as well as via email.
  • Currency conversion: DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) service so that your international customers can pay in their local currency if they prefer. You will continue to receive the amount in euros.
  • Option to not have to re-enter details: your regular customers can save their payment details if they wish for a quicker and smoother shopping experience. Your data will remain secure thanks to Wipöp’s tokenisation .
  • Security for you and your customers: Wipöp is PCI-DSS compliant and tokenises all financial transaction data. Your customer data is protected.
