The advantages of having Payment Link

What requirements do you need?

Through the Wipöp control panel you can generate a unique payment link for each customer. You can send these links via social media,​​ messaging or email. Your customer just has to open the link and fill in the appropriate data according to the payment method he/she chooses. 

Log in to your Wipöp account and select “Create payment link”. 

  1. We will ask you for the information of the customer you wish to send the link to. In this case, if you have already saved your customer, you just have to search for him/her and this data will be filled in directly. 
  2. In the second section, you must write: the amount to be charged, the concept of the operation and the payment method your customer wants to pay you with. You can also customise the transaction by selecting the currency, assigning a deadline for the payment link to work, and you can securely store your customer’s card for future payments. 
  3. Lastly, you can select the language in which you want to send the message with the payment link (perfect for foreign customers) and enter a web address where you want the transaction response to be sent. 

Once you have completed the new payment link form, you will be presented with a screen to confirm the data you have entered. Check it carefully and re-edit any incorrect data before finalising the creation of the payment link. 

Once you have completed this simple process, you can copy your payment link and send it to your customer via the channel of your choice. And that’s how quickly you can start getting paid! 

  • Send the links through the channel of your choice: WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, etc., as well as via email. 
  • Recurring payment automation: If your business requires recurring payments or subscriptions, Payment Link also allows you to configure these options. 
  • Flexibility in payment methods: offer your customers the choice to pay as they prefer, using Visa and Mastercard, Bizum or wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. 
  • Currency conversion: DCC(Dynamic Currency Conversion) service so that your international customers can pay in their local currency if they prefer. You will continue to receive the amount in euros. 
  • Easy to use: you can enjoy Payment Link without the need for an online shop or complex technical support. In addition, you can monitor all movements through our control panel. 
  • Security for you and your customers: Wipöp is PCI-DSS compliant and tokenises all financial transaction data. Your customer data is protected. 

Activation of the Payment Link solution is quick and does not require complex integration. All you need is:  

  • Comply with PCI-DSS security requirements in case of handling card data directly. 
  • Have an active Wipöp account.
  • Be registered as a self-employed person or SME.
  • Have a bank account to settle transactions.
  • If you wish to use the Bizum service, you must have it registered with your financial institution.
