Through the Wipöp control panel you can generate a unique payment link for each customer. You can send these links via social media or email. Your customer just has to open the link and fill in the appropriate data according to the payment method he/she chooses.
Log in to your Wipöp account and select “Create payment link”.
- We will ask you for the information of the customer you wish to send the link to. In this case, if you have already saved your customer, you just have to search for him/her and this data will be filled in directly.
- In the second section, you should enter: the amount to be collected and the description of the transaction. You can also personalise the transaction by assigning a expiry date for the payment link.
- Lastly, you can select the language in which you want to send the message with the payment link (perfect for foreign customers) and enter a web address where you want the transaction response to be sent.
Once you have completed the new payment link form, you will be presented with a screen to confirm the data you have entered. Check it carefully and re-edit any incorrect data before finalising the creation of the payment link.
Once you have completed this simple process, you can copy your payment link and send it to your customer via the channel of your choice. And that’s how quickly you can start getting paid!

Activation of the Payment Link solution is quick and does not require complex integration. All you need is:
- Comply with PCI-DSS security requirements in case of handling card data directly.
- Have an active Wipöp account.
- Be registered as a self-employed person or SME.
- You must have a bank account to settle transactions. BBVA Merchant Solutions EP, SL uses the Iberpay network to certify the ownership of bank accounts in Spain instantly and automatically, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This system checks in real time whether the IBAN provided exactly matches the NIF, NIE or CIF (tax number) of the account holder.
- If you wish to use the Bizum service, you must have it registered with your financial institution.
